The Siemens SIRIUS 3RW55 series 38 A AC/DC soft starter having screw terminals integrated with motor overload protection. When using the motor overload protection according to ATEX, an upstream contactor is required in inside-delta circuit. Equipped with the utmost functionality, the SIRIUS 3RW55 High Performance soft starters confidently handle even difficult starting and stopping operations. Thanks to innovative torque control, the device can be used for drives with an output between 5.5 kW and 560 kW (at 400 V). The functions have been specially designed to offer maximum user friendliness. By means of the detachable HMI (with color display, local interface and a slot for MicroSD memory card) and plug-in communication modules (PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Modbus), they ensure maximum flexibility.
